iGEM ULaval 2023

We used this part as a control of our experiment. We were able to express this part using a standard IPTG induction protocol. Cells were inducted with 0.1 mM IPTG and incubated for 18 hours overnight at 26 °C. Under our protocol, we were able to see significant overproduction of proteins. Most of which were in the pellet (unsoluble extract). We qualitatively tested the enzyme and detected an α-galactosidase activity. See https://2023.igem.wiki/ulaval/ for details.
